There, she served as an outpatient psychiatrist and the designated psychiatrist in their comprehensive case management program. This program is designed for military veterans with psychotic spectrum disorders as well as severe PTSD, depression and bipolar disorders.
Dr. Yin also provides repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS depression therapy), which was approved by the FDA in 2008 for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD), magnetic treatment for depression and TMS treatment for depression. In cases of severe recurrent depression, she also has experience in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). This is a safe and highly effective procedure with the highest remission rates of any treatment for depression to date.
