    My Therapeutic Approach

I work with individuals ages 17 and up, as well as couples. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life. Whether it is depression, anxiety, or something else, I view symptoms not simply a “problem” to be solved, but as a way you have learned to adapt to life’s challenges. I take an integrative, collaborative approach to therapy, recognizing that meaningful change often begins with understanding where our patterns, beliefs, and ways of relating come from. I also love to incorporate the body and the imagination. I specialize in trauma and has a particular interest in how relational experiences and childhood learnings can shape the way we see ourselves, navigate relationships, and respond to challenges in the present. Drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches, I will tailor treatment to each person rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model. I firmly believe that clients are the experts of their experiences and see my role as creating a space to understand what is happening beneath the surface and build lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

If you’ve ever known something to be true, but it does not feel true, repairing this disconnect is my specialty. You can experience long-lasting relief from your problems, and I’m here to help guide you through this transformation. If you feel ready to identify the root of your problems, and get curious about yourself, I would be a great fit for you.

    Philosophy

Therapy should not be a band-aid, and we should strive for more than marginal improvement. I want to help people truly feel as though they experienced transformational change in therapy, going from merely surviving to thriving. Living a life that is meaningful is the compass, and your values your north star. I believe the relationship between us is our best tool to effect change outside the therapy room, and I strive to build a space that is supportive, empowering, and without judgment.
