My Therapeutic Approach
I am a warm, compassionate and present Clinical psychotherapist with over 20+ years of experience working with adults and families in a variety of clinical and community settings
I use a client centered approach to understanding the whole person, and I partner with my clients as they take an active role in their own healing and growth.
My clients will engage in a nonjudgmental, collaborative and creative process to help them see their own strengths and to identify thought processes that are counterproductive to their wellbeing and relationships.
My goal is to help each client accomplish their goals in the most useful and realistic manner. I believe that when people take an active role in their process of change, it is a very challenging and courageous experience, and I am respectful of this process for people.
Through direct experience and advanced training, I have developed expertise in the use of a variety of evidence-based practice interventions. Some of these include, Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Resilience Counseling, mindfulness, somatic processing, distress tolerance, harm reduction and more.
Outside of my therapy practice, my personal goal for living is to be intentionally kind and present. I enjoy cycling, hiking, listening to music, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Services Offered
I see clients from 18 and up for individual, family and couples outpatient psychotherapy. Our initial appointment will prioritize gathering information, developing rapport and trust, and creating goals for our work together. After that, we will plan to meet for regularly scheduled therapy appointments and maintain a consistent schedule aimed to promote and maintain wholistic positive health outcomes and accountability.
I provide therapy for individuals dealing with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, chronic physical health issues, dependence issues, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and relationship distress.
I provide family therapy and couples counseling with significant others or family members, when it is relevant and appropriate to the therapeutic goals.
Don’t live with the misery of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, psychotic spectrum disorders, or another mental health issue. Schedule an appointment with a female psychiatrist by calling 414-763-6910 or by Requesting an Appointment online.
We welcome patients from the Milwaukee area, including New Berlin, Waukesha, Wauwatosa, West Allis, and nearby communities.
